Fix for "Remote connection could not be made to the host" (Hamachi guide)

Did none of the steps work for you? then i've got you covered.

Me and my friend have been wanting to play stick fight together for a while when we actually came across this fix. I tried all the steps from the original thread but nothing worked but hamachi did.We were both so happy! I'm pretty sure this will work for you if nothing else worked.

Step 1:download hamachi
Hamachi is basically an app that makes the computers think they are connected to the same network also it's used for remote connections. You can either search for it or download it from this link: https://en.softonic.com/download/hamachi/windows/post-download?sl=1

Step 2:Install hamachi just go on with the installation, that's pretty straightforward.

Step 3: wait for it to update
The program will update itself on launch just wait a bit (The link has an older version and that's why).

Step 4: Log in or sign up
Create an account or if you have one log in.

Step 5: Create a network or join an existing one

once however many of you want to play together and have this issue are done with the prev. steps then one of you click create a network choose a name (network id) and a password.
then your friends have to click join existing network, type in the name and the password you picked.

Step 6: HAVE FUN!
from there you can now basically invite your friends to a lobby and violla!

Disclaimer: All of your friends must follow these steps (not the ones who can connect to you by default). Feel free to ask any questions.

Funny.
Me and my friend did this. We could join each other, but strange things happened to the player who joined the server. And we had good connection to the network, so that shouldn't be an issue...

We both followed all this.
We downloaded and installed the old Hamachi, I created a network, and he joined mine, then we relaunched the game. Before we used Hamachi, we couldn't even join each other. Now we can, but that resulted in these strange things.

Hi! Did your friends follow the thread and the hamachi steps too?

None of this is working for one of my friends, also there are times when even I have to connect 3 times for it to work. (And you can believe me when I say my network is properly configured. It works perfectly fine with this game too, but sometimes it just doesn't want to...) The desync is awful too. Please at least try to fix your networking, or hire someone who can do it better. This game would be amazing, but the connection issues make it hard to find any friend who's willing to play it.

I personal prefer Teamviewer over Hamachi, cause there u can disable autostart etc.
