Need Help: Two Steam Controllers acting as one controller.
Hi guys,

I was excited to get this game and play with a friend last night, but we ran into a frustrating problem. I'm using a Steam Link in my living room with two Steam Controllers. I had them both turned on before launching the game. The game will not recognize them as two separate controllers. Any input from either controller effects the single character on screen and I can't get another character to appear for the second controller.

I didn't expect a game like this to favor mouse and keyboard. Am I out of luck and out of 5 bucks or is there a solution?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm having the same problem. I have 4 Steam controllers and they all act as one, only controlling player 1. Will this ever be fixed?

Hello! Were they plugged in before you started the game?

my problem to fixing this was going to steam big picture and deselecting the controller and turning steam big picture off. in settings..

I have the exact same problem and I have tried everything from plugging them in before and after start, I'm currently testing if I can get this to work somehow and I'm seriously debating unplugging my keyboard for this. Dev's, can't you do anything to help us?
I have just figured the bug out for me; if you use any other than the default steam controller configuration, then all controllers will act as one. If you don't, then one controller will each be one player. The last and only problem left for me is that one of the controller players also overlaps the keyboard/mouse player, meaning that I'll have to get another steam controller if I want to play with my friends.

I solve this by using a PS4 configuration, the steam controller is a stick man and the keyboard is another stick man.
