Fortunately, as post above says, there's a very useful app called InputMapper that tricks windows into thinking the PS4 controller is an Xbox360 controller, which fixes it for most games.
he maybe port in the furute that game to consols so must made this step ;)
that game is made in unity so it give simple fixes for that ^^
In native directinput mode i can spawn 4 seperate stickmen and left joystick /jump works but nothing else. I have tried changing input mappings with no success.
If i enable ps4 controller support just for this (forced on) with global setting off. I get issue with 2 stickmen spawning for 1 controller.
My controllers work perfectly with this game with Steam's PS4 configuration support enabled in big picture. But i dont like to use this global setting as it can cause lag issues/wireless range problems in other games (ie rocket league). Its a workaround but annoying to turn global setting on/off when switching games as all controllers must be power cycled.
I prefer to turn on ps4 controller support (forced on) per game. (Please note "forced off" per game doesnt work with dualshock4s over bluetooth). Werid that "forced on" per game or global setting give different results.
Love this game. Hopefully dualshock4 support or better manual mapping from direct input controllers can be added in the future :)
