Melee weapons and duels

Are there any melee weapons?
So far,i only saw guns.
When i bought the game,i thought its mainly about melee combat,with a few(!) weapons.
Now,a few seconds after the match starts,someone grabs a gun and everything starts to explode/break apart.
With all those explosions,you cant see much of the melee fights or basically,anything else.
The physics could be used for some cool looking melee attacks and poses but you dont see anything of it because of all those guns.

It would be cool if some melee weapons could be added(if there are none already)and if we could choose to open/join a room with no guns.
Those fights are way too chaotic and often,also too short.

What about a duel mode against strangers?

it's a more middle age styled sword

Yea,found that out by now.For the first half hour,i was in rooms with no melee weapons at all,so i thought there are none.

But still,shooting,seems to be the main form of combat here :(
Melee only rooms would be nice,or at least,melee only maps sometimes.

There a weapon option of "melee" that will only spawn the sword and dagger.

make it so more than 4 people can play, if u have 5 people your in deep sh*t

its chaos all the time. there are mellee but theres also snake guns

I'm pretty sure you can change the items that appear if you're the host of the match somewhere in the pause menu

So im just joining random rooms.
