I keep getting rekt

Please help, I either get put up with hackers or seasoned professionals that know how to combo me across the map and kill me within 2 seconds. Is the hit-reg broken? Is it my internet issue? Does the host player get an advantage since his ping is 0? There's so little technical information that goes to the players I really do not understand how to play properly.

Do I just have to play it over and over again for more experience? I feel the only times I can have fun on this is if I play with my friends who are similarly skilled.

I've tried getting better by finding guides, but there doesn't seem to be any guides for this game. Guides do not help, and looking at the players movements don't help either. Since the game is so hectic everything happens in a blur and I genuinely cannot tell how they are hitting me so many times in a row. How come they punch faster than me? How come they reach further than me? Is there a hidden feature that lets them do more damage if they hit punches in rapid succession? To me it seems like it.

I am a very technical player and like to look at stats. I'm genuinely confused on how I am supposed to do well. The first time I played i couldn't even figure out how to join a match!! This game tells players too little about it and I guess that is what makes this game unique. Props to you developers for giving me a 5 dollar cheap game that is very well made, fun, and creative. However, I'm completely crap at it. Could anyone help me out??

Be the first guy to get the gun that drops, if you aren't, jump the guy with the gun and start beating him, it will make him drop the gun, and being in his face, jumping around will make you a harder target. Use the level hazards to your advantage when possible. Learn to use that block (right click), punch fast, learn to get a good reaction speed, you CAN read other players.

Sometimes throwing a gun [F] Can be more effective than shooting the gun, especially when on a cooldown. Become elite Kung Fu Ninja.

During close quarters fist fights, keep your cursor pointed at your enemies at all times while you spam left click basically

Why is throwing a gun more effective? Does it do more damage?

THERE ARE NO HIDDEN FEATURES

I highly doubt you get put with actual hackers. It just seems like that ok, trust me.

All you have to do is play more. Once you have played, say, 4 hours, you will have learned a lot and should stop getting rekt so quickly.

You gotta be quick and you gotta tryhard to beat the crap out of them. This is the opposite of a strategy game if you like. Just do what feels right.

They hit faster than you because they click at the right moment and they click faster. They hit you because you aren't hitting them and you aren't avoid them which makes you an easy target. You can't always play passively. I don't actually know how u play I'm just guessing.

When you click to punch, you punch in the direction that your cursor is at in relation to your stick figure. Very important lol.

Don't let people beat you around, either avoid them until you get a gun or beat them back. Or you can do half and half where you jump in and out to try and land some hits without taking damage yourself. Just do what works I guess.

Throwing anything does good damage but then you lose the gun. It's not going to make you play that much better though. I never throw but it can be a good idea.

If you have a sword and then you see a gun to pick up, you could throw the sword at an enemy, then get the gun as there is no disadvantage apart from them possibly getting the sword more easily.

Also you can block a punch with a punch, and you can also kill them at the same time they kill you with a punch. Guns can also block shots, or maybe thats just a glitch.

What I do is throw right after a shot, because if you are spam shooting your next shot is going to shoot who knows what direction, OR shoot until you are almost out of bullets, then make that last one a throw, a gun or sword is also a bigger object that can hit, and harder to dodge, and also has an arc for throwing over small hills etc.

It also causes a distraction, instead of chasing you down they might try to go for the gun, and then you can punch them as soon as they get it, because melee is better in close quarters most of the time. Throwing your weapon has many great uses, or you can just throw it off of the map so no one else gets it if there are 2 weapons there, throw it, and grab the other one. Throwing also does more damage than some of the weapons.

But most importantly become instinctive, build your reflexes, become elite Kung Fu Ninja.

True. A few times when you try to throw something of the map it bounces off the edge and it comes straight back at ya

Try to predict players actions, and block more often, a successful block will not let the player attack for about 2 seconds; use this as an advantage. Blocking bullets/projectiles can be a bit tricky, sence you have to have (almost) perfect timing, almost meaning bullets give you just enough time to react. As alot of people are saying use F to throw weapons, it can be very useful. For example, on one of the box maps where you are across the map from your opponent and all you have is a sword, just throw it, (BONUS: swords can ricochet all over the map, its pretty cool if you pull this off). Be carful with snake guns and snakes itself, as just 2 snakes can easily pin you to the grownd and kill you instantly. Fighting isnt just spamming M1 and M2, you strategically use these, spamming will just give the opponent an opprotunity to block or you'll just just be pull of a ledge by the force of your punches.

MOBILITY:
I use a very interesting and special technique to jump much higher in the air. What i do is when i jump i press space (typically), M1+M2 all at the same time. This will make you jump way higher, making you faster and it will get you to very cool spots. For example, the lava map with the laser gun on top of a platform hanging from chains. Instead of just shooting the chains letting the weapon fall down to the battlefield, YOU will be up there by using the jump technique in no time (also by spamming). Jump across huge gaps and surprise the opponent

GUNS:
Now here is the fun part. Guns, randomized or specifically chossen by the host in the options menu. Some guns can be easily used like the AK-47, and the Uzi, but some guns are difficult to handle when it comes to close quarters combat. Some of these include
. the Sniper rifle
. (sometimes) The mini-rocket gun,
. Magnum
. Shotgun
. Pistol
These can be hard to aim or have nasty recoil. One thing to know is do not spam guns. The recoil can build up and your aim will be flailed all over the place. Like the pistol, spamming it will mess up your aim. What you can do to prevent this is to shoot your gun and wait until your arm stops moving from the recoil, then shoot again with perfect aim (all of this happens in just a second). And the last but not least, the controversial Shotgun (and snake gun in aome situations). This thing has wicked recoil and knock-back, so one shot could send you flying across the map into oblivion. But, this can be used as a great advantage, shooting downwards could give you an extra and super powerful jump, think of it as a boost, for when you are falling in the deep abyss you can use this to send flying back out of there. AND you can shoot people while doing this; win win. But suggest this to kill opponents.

And one finnal thing you should do is PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE sharpen your ninja skills with other players online and rek everyone! Hope this helps

it's easy to win u must be very good at jumping then kicking, doing this constantly will alow you to win in hand to hand comabt. Hiding is sometimes a great way if allowing the enemies to kill each other then u take the last one or 2 standing. always go for the gun. the gun will most likely put u in an advantageous position. However if gun is in a bad position or you may risk death , leave it. Not only this sometimes staying still is the bes tmove, this is because your opponent may have a bad gun which is hard to use eg. the one that explodes into spikes. if you stay still and away more often than not they will mostly likely kill themselves by carelessness.
