Training Mode Expert is just...frustrating.
I swear that almost all of the combos you learn in Training Mode for Gal and F. Norris are useless, impractical, and too obnoxious to get the inputs in for. I've been playing the game for a while and I've played each character for a while now, and I gotta say that I've discovered simpler combos that are so much more useful than whatever the heck you are FORCED to do in Training Mode. And the fact that some of the costumes are locked behind having to get the Black Belt...that's rough, man.

The expert mode combos are more like stepping stones. They're not the most useful, but they help you learn about using the character in a way that can lead to learning even better combos

You're not wrong but those expert mode combos are just too complicated for their own good. I learned better combos by not following what training mode made me go through.

What combos are you having trouble with? Maybe I can help.

I have managed to do all of the combos, Gal's took me a while to do all in one go, I just think that the combos we were forced to do aren't practical enough for Arcade or Battle Mode.

nice job as for the combos they're not practical and they are weird combos. I think it suppoused to show mastery of the combo system. rather than the game.

Thanks dude and yeah the combos are just really weird and awkward to pull off. I don't think I'm ever gonna get that black belt though.

its doable saw a video where someone did each character in 30 seconds pause the game when it gets to the next combo it also helps to memorize the order.
What's hard about practice mode... I literally finished all training courses in less than an hour for all 3 heroes. I have been honed in this kind of combo practices since Rival Schools, Street Fighter EX Series, KOF Maximum Impact and the likes... Fight'N Rage can't even compare to those challenges from the old school games that I have mentioned. I just used $7 cheap generic USB controller too by the way.
Also there are no black belt... it's from Yellow to Red to Purple Belt... weird though purple... LOL! And also combos are not that doable in the game coz there's so much going on that you can't execute the combos properly while other enemies are there. Sad though...

You get black belt if you beat expert within a minute

That one minute timer is kind of a ridiculous expectation.

it's not too bad gotta be quick with your inputs you can also pause when the new combo comes up and there's a video of someone tearing through with all characters in 30 seconds or so.

Yeah, I think I've seen that same video. That person must be crazy good at the game and/or at precise inputs. For me personally, I have a very hard time consistently doing the required inputs THAT quickly and then there's the matter of actually having to land the hits, which also feels inconsistent (because it appears that most of the combos only work if the training dummy is at a specific distance from a wall, which is silly in it of itself because there's only so many scenarios in Arcade Mode where there are walls to utilize).

In summary, I don't think I'll be getting the black belt anytime soon because I can't do those precise inputs fast enough.
