Ships?

This is more or less for the devs and im just asking are ships something that could possibly come in around 6 months maybe because its such a different thing and with that there will have to be water maps maybe you could put units on ships and some ships for example: american cruisers and battleships can launch kingfishers.

If you want Naval stuff, go play World of Warships or HoI4. A Naval system would screw the entire game up. Maps would have to be made to accommodate warships that are (In some cases) half the size of the map. Adding the navy to a game like this would just be stupid

Germany's navy was not good in the slightest. Their surface ships regularly got hunted down by British ships and annihilated. All of their capital ships were destroyed and the one time they succeeded in a duel of battleships with the Bismarck and Hood was sheer luck on Bismarck's part, which later ended up with Bismarck being hunted down and obliterated. The best thing Germany had for ships were their submarines, but even those were easily countered later on. Germany's WW2 navy was nothing compared to the rest of the Allies or Japan.

No it was not, it's rudder was crippled by swordfish torpedo bombers, it was sunk by a task force of the Home Fleet.

because its fecking ground units.
TTS relies on a small maps with a ton of small units filling a wide variety of roles and terrain advantages. naval would just be a new type of gameplay entierly.
