Optimized for high res screens?
I loved this game way back when and would pay to have a working version on Windows 10.

From the looks of the screenshots, they've not done anything with the screen resolution which for me is a must re-releasing a game. Have they?

Unfortunately they did not. It's a working 1 to 1 version under DosBox from the original... Though I personally like the game a lot, you (and your eyes, so-to-say) will "suffer" . I haven't found an option to do anything about the graphics so far. (( Will keep it anyhow .. but that's just me.. ))

That's a shame. I'll stick to my old copy then. :)

I also loved this game in the old days. But after looking at the store page it looks like they didn't change anything indeed. I would play a remake but not this.

You can edit the dosbox.conf file in the install folder to change the render resolution and scaling. The game will still be in 640x480, but with 3x non-smoothed scaling the you'll at least get uniform, square pixels. There are also smoothed scaling options, but I've never liked the look of those.
But no, there's no way to natively render the game at a higher resolution, unlike the Age of Empires HD releases and such.
