On a related note:
The game runs at a low resolution, and the steam launcher will adjust yours to that automatically. Alt-tabbing is a pain though, as your PC switches back to your original resolution, and the game then takes up a fraction of your screen. It's not the end of the world, as you can Save and exit, then launch it again.
You can just press alt-enter and it will resize to full screen again. No need to quit the game.

I have no issues using it on that platform and find it has more stability.
It's like other steam games, you just select the game in your library, and press play. You won't need to worry about DosBox etc. as it's handled automatically.
