Windows 10?
I enjoyed this game, back in the day. I would like to buy it, but need to know if this version will play on Windows 10?

I have windows 10 (unfortunately) and it works.

On a related note:
The game runs at a low resolution, and the steam launcher will adjust yours to that automatically. Alt-tabbing is a pain though, as your PC switches back to your original resolution, and the game then takes up a fraction of your screen. It's not the end of the world, as you can Save and exit, then launch it again.

You can just press alt-enter and it will resize to full screen again. No need to quit the game.

I play the game using Win10. it works fine intil the OS overclocks and boggs down. I just restart the PC and continue the save. I have played it using DOSBOX and GOG.

The game is not running. The DosBox is openning with the 1-5 menu, but is is closing after choosing any of those nubmers. Some advice???

I just tested this and had no issues with choosing 1. Sorry, cannot help further other than to say it works for my system.

Are you familiar with GOG? Have you linked your steam accounts game library to GOG?
(if you still can do this)

I have no issues using it on that platform and find it has more stability.

Is that so if I buy the Steam version there´s no need to get DosBox, they come together with the game? I have the original CD somewhere but I just don´t know where (think I could find it if I just tried hard enough) so maybe save the trouble and buy digitally instead?

That's right, DosBox is included in steam.

It's like other steam games, you just select the game in your library, and press play. You won't need to worry about DosBox etc. as it's handled automatically.

Anyone having stability issues there is a fix I am aware of. The game will sometimes crash due to "Not enough memory" lol... Go to to folder for CNW and find the CNWMAIN it is the launcher for the game. Right click, go to compatibility and check "Disable full screen optimizations" this will make the game more stable for whatever reason. I haven't tested it for Steam as of writing this, but it is the fix I use for the GOG version and it worked just fine.
