Devs please play AIrport Tycoon 1 (Airport Inc)!
There were many wonderful things about Airport Tycoon (the original) that made it such a fullfilling game, that I really hope will not be ignored with this release. I know its not the same game, but hear me out:
-Different countries were represented with different aircraft. The airlines were dynamic to the location. For example, if you selected Moscow Russia, you were placed in a terrain that was actually Russia, and you got russian aircraft, airlines.
-The landing/tower/spectator, different views. You could watch aircraft land, takeoff etc, or be sitting in control tower. This was fun if you have a big screen, and successful airport watching all your planes etc.

Those were really the golden aspects of the original airport tycoon we all loved!

I don't play Airport Tycoon but I love the idea to have several views (e.g. from the control-tower or the gate).
Specially in multi-monitor setups, it would be nice to have an flying window that can be put on a second monitor...

I completely agree. I have an emulator on my laptop solely for the original Airport Tycoon. I like that Sky Haven uses more detailed aircraft models (ex. Boeing 737-200, etc). I also like that this same uses real airlines instead of made up ones.

you can play airport tycoon with normal PC and use your graphics card to run it at your own resolution. Thats what I do. All you do is install nglide.

need to be able to place your own terminals along with research for them, otherwise its not really an airport tycoon type of game.

its gotta have a dynamic feel to it, where the enviornment is always changing and challenges have to be met.
