It is a bug of sort. I realised that some aircraft types were not using my grass ramps, so I had to upgrade the grass ramps, etc for the other aircraft to land, but the game did not make it clear that it was what I needed to do.
Then in the late 1940's aircraft don't need my refuelling services anymore all I get is one type of aircraft that wants the conveyor belt loaders and cargo, I put passenger services in and no passenger aircraft, so I think again I need to upgrade runway and ramps to concrete, although I am like £200k in debt lol.
It is a bug very much so, but I solved it kind of.
Also could not work out until i clicked on ramp that it was where I needed to buy extra vehicles.
Another bug is the contracts page, it is always blank, is this not featured at the moment?
I really thought it was a ramp thing that was causing the bug, but now it appears to be something else.
Did you change the taxiways that connect the runways?
As in, did you delete a taxiway and then make a new one that connected to other taxiways/runways differently from before?
I will explain why it had happened to me recently.
I have 3 runways and 3-4 rows of ramps. I decided to avoid backlog on taxiways and ramps, I connect one row of ramps to one runway, and the other rows to other runways, so there is no congestion on the taxiways.
However before I adjusted the taxiways, I had them connected together, so the ramps were using all runways, but when I decided to make runways for certain row of ramps, it completely screwed up the game.
Planes were not moving, they were stacking up on the ramps, so I had to reconnect all the taxiways and make new taxiways.
I then saved and exit the game, and then went back into the game, loaded it. While the game is in pause mode, I clicked on the cancel button of an aircraft that might be causing the obstruction in the first place. I then un-paused the game and it sorted itself out.
I kind of wanted the ability in the game to direct certain ramps to use certain taxiways.
I just wanted to clean up the congestion on the taxiways, by providing more than one taxiway for aircraft to use, like in real-life at big airports.
I think you're describing another issue entirely which is traffic jams with planes already at the airport. the issue we're having is ramps being connected properly and being empty yet the game treating them as "occupied" when you schedule or assign an incoming flight to the ramp.
it's confounding to me that a developer will be putting work into new features when the core mechanics of the game are still broken without resolution, including handling traffic on the ground.
