Farming with friends

Me and my friend bought the game together to make our own farm not to make separate farms the game is super fun and addicting until we found out about the host issue where I cant joint the farm wihout the host, so I was wondering if this is something the developers are working to change or is it a permanent thing?

Farm Together is not an online game. There is no public server on which the individual farms of the players are stored.

If you want to go to the farm of your friend, then this is only possible if he is present on his farm. Of course, the reverse is true. That will not change.
