There's a nut stand you can sell them at and a bigger nut market later on. The same applies to most resources, there's a smaller stand and later a bigger stand to sell more resources per transaction at a slightly worse deal for you.
The guides section is underwhelming compared to the wiki. Use the wiki if you want lots of well written information about the game for practically anything.

Every stand increases the storage of harvested stuff, when you collect the content of a stand, storage gets bigger. So it's good to have many fruit stands, vegetable stand, nut stands, fish stands, mushroom stands etc and if possible also the storage house and later the big barn with a storage of 100.
The nut stand has a big peanut as a kind of roof. Just can't remember at which farm level it gets available but you can find this info in the shop where there is the unlocked stuff (grayed out) and when you hold the mouse pointer over it, you can see which farm level you need (the purple star symbol) to unlock the nut stand.
