It is not perfect but it so good, how could a successor be as fun as this?
But I am all for it! But I'll only buy in a special offer. I only bought Kenshi without a special offer so far I think :-)
Farming in Kenshi is dangerous, so.... nothing for lazy guys :-)
I can't say when we'll start working on it, but what features would you like in a Farm Together sequel? Would you like to keep the current content or to rework some stuff? Would you rather play long sessions or every day for a little bit?
Every suggestion is welcomed!
You know... quests where you need to plant and harvest things that a farmer would plant and harvest.
Not some stupid super special bushes that only give diamonds or some plants you would never plant without a quest.
Quests for people who ---- WOW!!!!!! ---- plant fruits and vegetables. You know? Like ... in ... farming?
I'll second Zany's suggestion because I absolutely hate the quest portion as a direct result of having so few that ask for us (the farmer) to actually plant... plants.
I'd also like to see a special sprinkler.. that adds fertilizer to the watered item (I'm specifically thinking of flowers here) that reduces the growth time. A quest that wants flowers that take 2 days (real world days) to grow is.... no, in order to remain polite, I can't finish that sentence.
You could streamline the different currencies : Let us pay farmhands with coin and let us buy deco and sprinklers with gems please. 5 types of currencies are needlessly complicated. Please don't add markets with strange timing on selling or things like that. It would simply add stress to the game.
The quests are often way too time consuming for even the "short" ones, because nobody wants to have that many animals. They're far too costly to maintain.
There are also too many kinds of animals though. A few animals adds a bit of "color" to the game, but more varieties of animals than more varieties of flowers is ridiculous. The flowers have a nice variety with a good balance of time and value. I'm conflicted about the trees. They don't give a great xp or coin return, but then you only have to buy them once so they're kind of like long tail retail items. It's good to have them and to continually work them, but it does take up space. I do like how a vast stretch of trees look though. I would get bored if it was all field crops.
Be able to set farmhands to also plant. Pehaps having one of those signs to set which crop. Also speed up their actions, pehaps with upgrades.
Better options for automation if someone so desire. If people don't want to for whatever the reason, just don't use it.
Every object should have an use, even so for roleplay aspect. Like bending over to use a telescope, pretending to be cleaning when using a bath, or swimming in pools. TV having actually channels, that can be just some short animations.
More interactivity with animals.
This! Every time my cat talks to me I am ashamed I can't answer her :-(
The timing mechanics feel like a f2p mobile game also, it's like they couldn't decide if they wanted to make a freebie game or game for purchase, it's just weird.
I agree more objects should have a use, but I doubt it would be all objects in the sequel, that is if they follow the same pattern as this game with massive amounts of decor, reskinned decor.
Beating the current event seems impossible, i just managed to unlock 1 item of the 6.
I should have gotten all 6 items IMO.
