1 Visitor in 80 hours.
What is wrong with my farm or settings preventing people from visiting. I am not talking about entering my farm and leaving because they see something they do not like, literally 1 person to log onto my farm except for me at all in hours hours of game play.

Guest permissions are set to Plant and Harvest.
Level 58 farm with countless high level flowers etc to harvest. 5 filling stations 10 small stations.
Any ideas on that the issue is?

Correction, I am level 58, I have a level 71 Farm.
People not visiting seems to have been an issue for quite a while. The best thing you can do is ask for Farm Friends (in this forum for example), and visit each other every now and then.

Yeah I haven't had many visiting :( I've got a level 117 farm and a level 82 farm.

It has become very lonely and that has impacted my enjoyment. I know it shouldn't, I should want to play for my own benefit, but the "together" aspect was what made me buy the game. I liked setting up a farm for other people's boosting/harvesting needs, but I find people aren't visiting any more. So now I only play when the new event starts to get those items, then after a few days of having more crops planted in case anyone stops by (and they don't) I don't play again until the next event.

This event and last one, after finishing the event quest I planted my 2 public farms out with heaps of event crops, (my larger event farm has tons of pineapples as well) - ready for visitors. I left my game running for 2-3 days (overnight and all day) - I think I had a total of 1 visitor in all that time (and that's someone I have on my favourites list to go there for a boost, so they come visit mine sometimes :) )

My farm is set to quests and harvest- because I've heard of some people planting stupid crops as a way to troll people, so I don't want normal planting.... but I'd hoped people would pop in for a boost or to get event crops.

That's why I suggested to the Devs to have some sort of incentive to visit other farms, but they said the boost is enough. (Clearly it isn't though).

I agree with you Obsi.

I've been going out visiting new players and inviting them back to my mass planting event farm to help with the event and get them levelled up.
They ask me questions and I'm able to explain things, eg booster meter. sprinklers etc. We have a good time and friend/fav each other. Met some great folk :)

I think a lot of us established folk have multiple farms where we can be self sufficient. I created mini event farms to get around the limitations the devs imposed on us. I want to get the event done asap so that I can understand the events requirement, then open my main event farm to help others.

As I've said before, if planting was unlimited but harvesting is limited to x amount per farm per visit then that would encourage visiting.

I think, that showing farms without any privileges on list is the problem. Because these farms take space of list, that otherwise would be taken by players who want to have visitors. It should be changed and show farms when visitors can't do anything only after player would chose to see these, not by default.

Yes good idea. Sometimes it is nice to visit those farms to see the way they are decorated, but it's frustrating to accidentally click on one when you're looking for a farm to get a boost from.

Also I think the list shows the most popular farms at the top? I always try and scroll down to farms on the bottom of the list, as I figure otherwise they won't get visitors.

+1 regarding PeEI & Obsi above.

Also I find the "favourite" option does not always stick.

My farm that I get no visitors on, even when I leave it open all day and night - is level 117...

are u sure its set to public and not private?

I have level 112 farm and also don't have visitors. I had two in my whole game, both joined almost in the same time, did nothing and gone. It might also be problem with regions. Maybe game shows open farms from your closest region and when there is not many players you are just cutted off from them.
Obsi Apr 12, 2019 @ 4:02pm
Yes it's public, and set to quest and harvest - because I have had some people join (also I know what setting it is set to). But I am in Australia - so I assume it's the regional problem.

Although the number of visits I've had is definitely decreasing over time. Back in Nov/Dec I had a few pop in, but over the last few months I've had barely any - I think only 3 in the last 3 months.

The developers are wasting the game, I am level 70 and I have not yet visited any person, I got tired of visiting farms, and I have seen that many do not even have the guest book, so, it is evident that it is a game that becomes too lonely and boring when it has already progressed enough, people do not participate at all, and events are very irrelevant and without content, for me it has become repetitive and without incentives other than competing against oneself, silly thing in the long run.
Good game but very stuck in a routine farm and no new ideas from developers who have fallen asleep in a short success.

Google translate.

Here's an idea:

The animal quests can be quite a pain, why not make it possible to fulfill quest quotas while working on someone else's farm (just like during the special events)? This would be a huge incentive to go visiting and helping. :steamhappy:

And if trees / crops / flowers were included, then people would have even more reasons to visit and help. Right now most people want to run in, find the highest xp item and run out. Won't even say hello back to you. :steamfacepalm:
