Helping Out in Other Farms
I am interested with the drop-in, drop-out aspect of multiplayer. Quick question though: what in-game benefits do you get from helping out a total stranger work his/her farm? Do you get unique resources or bonuses for doing so?

You accumulate a bonus in the form of energy. When you return back to your own farm you will get more resources (and money i think) until your bonus energy runs out

Oooh. Never noticed that. Thanks!

And while we're on the topic, can guests visit your farm even when you're offline?

Guests can only visit your farm when you are online in your farm (so even if you are online but on someone elses farm, they can't join your farm), and also if you have it set to public. You can choose what actions you'll allow them to do on your farm as well. So you can let them just harvest or harvest and plant if you want (or give them no permissions, so they can only look around)

And yes, you get double the resources (so 2 fruits instead of the 1 a plant would normally give), and you get an increase in money from the harvest too - not sure how much extra money you get, it's not double, but it's a good amount.

The boost is great for getting the 2x fruits and honey which you can then use for getting medals.

Hmmm so perhaps you should go help out players on their farms first until you get a full boost meter and THEN load up your own farm?

Looks like it. Find a huge farm to work on, harvest some crops, return to your own farm and reap all the rewards.
