Best way to farm ribbons?

Right now I am just doing quests and turning fruit into presses and then selling the jam. Is there a better way?

Get mango trees instead of apple when you can, earn you a lot more money and can also be harvested every season.

i need the trees not for gold i need the apple ressource to get the ribbons. fish is a good gold source. i have 3500 clown fishes and 500 other fishes + a few farm hands to loot the fishes.

in one hour afk i get 6m gold and 1600 diamonds. and mass of fish ressource. 100 fish ressource = 40 diamonds on fish market. i have placed money trees around of the farmhands

I understand. Tamarind trees are harvestable every season, like apples. They produce exactly the same amount of fruit in the same amount of time but pay a LOT more. If you're going to harvest fruit to turn into jam, why not get paid the highest possible amount for it?

My Tamarinds are level 144 right now, producing the same amount of fruit as apple trees, just as fast as apple trees, but paying 252 per harvest instead of whatever tiny amount apple trees give.

I do the 13x13 square of trees with a farmhand in the middle thing, and have two of them. That's currently 168 trees per farmhand square, so 336 trees.

336 trees x 4 harvests per game "year" of 4 seasons is 1,344 harvests per "year" (68 minutes).

1,344 harvests @252 each is 338,688 gold per 68 mins.

Compare that to how much you make in a 68-minute cycle and it will be pretty clear that Tamarinds are the way to go. Sure, you make money off fish, but why throw away a few hundred thousand extra per hour? It's not like you can't afford the trees. And my Tamarinds are not even maxxed out yet.

You said you have 4,000 total fish. Even at my not-maxxed Tamarind level, each tree produces just over a thousand gold an hour, has no chance of having a "small catch" or other issue that fish come with.

If you had 4,000 tamarinds you'd get 16,000 harvests per 68 mins. That would give you 1600 diamonds, just like your fish - and 32 medals's worth of jam, too.

And, again, if the Tamarinds were level 200 instead of level 144 it would be even more profitable than the numbers I have right now.

So, basically, what I am saying is this:

Using Tamarinds instead of apple trees would net you pretty much the same profit as your fish while still doing all the same stuff you get from your apple trees, too.

yes i use tamarinds. my fishes are really a good gold source, many better as the trees or other things. my fish sea is collected by farmhands and i make the quests or others. the juice is optional medal source. i use primary the gift shop for medals and the quests. i have see just now in the guides have a guy make one with fishes. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1541621376
