Keybind for Quest Log PLEASE?

Can we get a keybind option for the quest log? Please?

Just hit Escape and it'll show your quest at the bottom.
Dunno if there is a dedicated quest log, but that's how I've been checking my progress.

There is a log now, read todays patch notes.

Before the update, we just had to hit escape to see our current quest. With the update, very well done, by the way, we have to click on the quest bar after hitting escape. It's not a huge task, just not as user friendly as before.

We're aware of this and we'll probably add a mapping to have direct access to the quest log. Which key do you think should be used?

Default J or L ? Journal or Log ?

Of course it needs to be changable like al lthe other keys! :)

yes, please make easier access to quest log! The user experience and ease of access and efficiency is kind of broken with having to hit esc and then click on quest log.

Yup, J or L are definitely the most common keys for that :)

Or put it under Tab too. Where it will show on the LEFT (Quests) and RIGHT (whatever there is now). :D

That is not the case.
Users coming from the many different games that use quest log systems already have a certain key they connect with it. And that key is definitely not Q.
The most common keys would be J, for journal - or L, for log.


In games, Q is mostly used for special interactions, a quick-menu, a special attack, or rotating/leaning left.

Q for quest as a button could give a little mapping problem for people with azerty keyboard lay-out as there q is used to move left when running around (ZQSD instead of WASD for us :) )
