Uneven Plant Countdown Timer
I recently discovered an issue with Tomatoes in particular, I planted them all at the same time, and all of a sudden when they were ready to water, the 9 square plot that needed water was every other one, these 9 square plots were planted seconds from one another, then I watered the ones that needed it, and then waited a while so now the ones from before that didn't need water now need to be watered, this happened in 3 different water cylces, so by the time the 3 water cycle came, now they are all even on the count down timer. So is this a bug or are Tomatoes suppose to behave this way when planting them, if so that's highly annoying. Hopefully someone can answer this.

Ya it's happening all over the Farm, never did this before today, I was waiting all day to finish a mission waiting for watermelons to harvest, and I planted just enough to complete the quest and it left 3 9 square blocks unharvested because the game set the time back 4.5hrs, and all plants were planted and watered at the same time. This is complete bull$it, I mean what's the point of planting a particular crop when it's going to randomize your timer? So stupid.

Sorry, I don't really understand what you say you're experiencing. Are you saying that items all planted and watered at the same time are taking different times to grow? That sounds rather unlikely, and I think way more people would have reported this if it was the case.

There's no randomization on crop duration, and as far as we know there's no bug related to the time left shown in the lower left of the screen, so it should be rather precise (with the exception of weather effects, that can cause slight delays or boosts).

I've seen crops during a heat wave with full water bars that did not deplete. But it was patchwork, so that some crops in the same field had no water and others were full. Some plants were ready to harvest long before others.

Haven't figured out how to replicate it.

OP means that he just planted (lets say) 4 patches of 9 crops each in 10 seconds and 2 of those patches are watered already, even if he didn't even water those patches. This means that half of his farm is sitting there watered (without the watering icon) and half his farm isn't watered, what will result in different grow timers. The weird part is, whenever you water those crops without a watering icon, it'll increase the grow timers to the point where they should be. This probably means that the game shifts the timers to the wrong 'grow-phase' the moment you plant them.

The amount of crops that'll be already watered when placed is randomized, so it's probably a bug, not intentional. Maybe it's due to weather conditions or seasonal change, but I'm not sure what is causing it.

Happened to me with crops that were newly added to the game btw.

I have noticed this with lettace It happens way too much like I just watered them and now they need to be watered again just after I watered them.

I hope you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joking.

You seem to have no idea how hard it can be to track down and replicate certain issues. Especially if you have never encountered them yourself.
