Wait blocked off many areas with cracks? I'm sorry what cracks are we guys taking about again?
I agree with removing the texture of cracks in the ground. But cracks blocking areas? what's that?
Oh yeah sorry I failed to update my previous comment. I had a crack I could walk on so I didn't see a problem with that. But the larger cracks couldn'tbe walked above and acts like a wall/barrier. This I hate.
Devs please remove this. Or tell us the purpose of these cracks. Are they for a future update or something where you will add a mining feature? or is it just for show? If it is for show please we don't like it. :(

BUT tbh this is what I'm thinking the logic to add cracks based on the post above is wacky. Devs increase the farm size (which is really awesome!) but then adds cracks as a alternative to boulders? it makes the place look bad and the shape of it is more of a nuisance than boulders. It adds variety, yes, but it's a good looking game and adding cracks impacts its beauty in a negative way making the game look more serious. Maybe after filling it with water it might look better as they plan? I think smaller ponds would have been better alternative. Like the ones with bridges but only smaller and without bridges if they wanted to look for a easy substitute. Or maybe instead of cutting the land to make a crack why not reverse it? make a little hill-ish hump (like a speed grassy or dirt bump) where things can't be grown?
In the end I would still love to see what they do with the cracks though - Fill them with water? go for it! :P
It's not so much that the community was against rocks, we just wanted the ability to remove them, or have them as a decoration item that we can place anywhere. Their response was to add a new immovable item to the new map area.
As an early access game, I would like to see the devs consider what players have been asking for.
The other thing, these cracks are spread out through the new areas. I appreciate that they've expanded the map which was a request, but players want to build and design with available buildings and decorations. It makes designing farms tricky to work around impassable areas.

Another player and I had to practically fight tooth and nail in another thread as well as on the discord server for them to fix the flowers, but it took almost a week of constant posting and begging. We even posted several very logical solutions to the issue, but it seems the Devs aren't too keen on changing things. Which is extremely disheartening. In fact, the flowers are STILL broken but the Devs insist it's intentional... but I digress.
The POINT of EA is to make the game the best it can be for the actual release. That means taking what the community as a whole is saying and asking for into consideration. If you're going to ignore that, then you might as well just release the game as is.
Imo, the devs should be spending more time listening to the community and improving GAMEPLAY than adding in more cosmetics and recolours of animals.
