Dedicated server?

Any plans for a dedicated server? My roommate and I play together, but not always at the same time. It would be nice to have a lightweight server which could be left running in the background, rather than needing to leave the game running, idle, on one machine.

This is something we plan on doing soon as a simple launch option that directly loads a farm and disables graphics, but right now the only way is to keep a client running.

Perhaps the game server rental companies such as Multiplay will pick up the game to rent servers to keep farms running 24/7.

We have one for Farming Simulator 17.

Please do not follow Farming Simulator's way of running dedicated servers. That piece of sw requires you to buy a new license for dedicated server. What a joke.

I wouldn't be opposed to a dedicated option for when I can't get on but friends want to work our farm.

I would do that in a heart beat. If Multiplay adds this game I will rent one for it. I already have one for FS17.

At least an option to keep your farm workin while youre online. If you close your current session everybody gets disconnected. Thats a lil pity if you have like 10 people at your farm and you dont want them get dc'ed, but also want to check other farms.

i would like to host a dedicated server for my brother and friends. I host a few steamcmd games like 7 days to die and don't starve together.

I don't think that they will charge to have you host your own server on your own hardware through your own bandwidth, they aren't uplay
