why Farm Together another farms
There's two leveling systems in place:
* Character Level (yellow star): This is tied to you as a player, and increases whenever you perform tasks in any farm. It's shown on the main menu, and on the top left corner of the screen when you are playing. This level is currently used to unlock customization options, and may be used for more things in the future.
* Farm Level (purple star): This is tied to a farm, not a player, and increases whenever someone performs tasks in this specific farm. It's shown on the top right corner of the screen when playing. This level is used to unlock new items (crops, trees, etc) in the farm.
Remember that you can have many farms yourself, not just one, and every one of them will start at level 1.
I've been playing with my SO in my farm. He levelled up his character level to level three (the yellow star in the top right corner next to his portrait), and then I exited the game which closed my farm and kicked him out. He's now back to level 1 character level. When he re-joins my farm after I resumed the game, he's still back a level 1. So I'm guessing this is a bug that the character level isn't saving properly? Did it not save because I left the game which kicked him out?
EDIT - The next time he levelled in my game, he exited then returned and it saved his level. :)
That's a big mistake and something we'll definitely fix in the next patch.
Meanwhile, as a temporary solution, you can just load your own farm and exit it before you close the game, that will trigger a data save and your player progress will be safe.
Apologies about this problem and thanks for finding it!
