Hope your saves can be restored. Since they are saved currently I would make a copy of them prior to uninstalling. Reinstall and copy them back to the location Farm Together expects them to be.
Prior to all this it may be beneficial to restart your PC as that does seem to fix a lot of things, too. It could simply mean restarting Steam as well.
Tried Restarting computer: nothing
Tried re-installing Farm Together: nothing
This was the first time playing the game since both the steam and game updates...
I looked at my files on my computer and in the cloud.... (they matched). The only new file was farms.data from 8-30-2019
>I first tried removing the newest file (farms.data) to have the cloud download it again and still be broken.
>My next thought was to delete it again and rename the .bak file as a .data file, but that would lose over 12 days of growth, and I hadn't played for 5 at the time.
>I went into the files properties (right click > properties) and did a "restore earlier version of the file". It took me to 8-25-19 and it worked.
I've closed the game a few times and re-opened it to make sure.
