This or 3D?

It's the first time I heard about this series. Is this one better or the 3D ? or the Wrestling Empire (but this one isn't out yet, only on mobile)?

No it is out, personally this game isn't quite as polished as the 3d game but its more fun and random. There is a new 3d game coming out soon with better FPS so if your considering 3d I would wait.

I like them both for different reasons.

3D Has better controller support, better to mod and is a newer game. If you have a good PC you can have a lot of people and items in matches. You can't always see everything in the 3d camera so changing the camera around sometimes is a thing.

2D Does not have the greatest support for controllers, Is more random in career mode and has more interesting wrestlers as default. The 2d version was suppose to release like 9 years ago so it has some names that are not in the newer one. Also you can start a career with rosters that are completely randomly generated which the 3d game does not have. Things are a lot easier to see in the 2d plane as well but less freedom of things to do.

The new 3D game is coming out this year and is made in unity this time so you will get 60 fps, untied to the speed of the game which is a blessing in itself. ALL of the older games the frame rate was tied to the speed of the game.

TL:DR

So there is not really a good answer, I am preferring 2d right now because of the roster, but you have to edit your wrestler in keyboard mode because the controller does not work with editing a wrestle properly.

But with mods 3d game is probably much better.

EDIT: what i really should have said is get this now and play this till the new game comes out, you will have enough to do till it does.

Thanks for the in depth answer. Also, yes, haha, I was planning to play this or the 3d until the new game comes out - but that's why I made the topic because I can't decide on which one.

The only way that I can sim in 3D is to put a cage around the ring so that the ai can't stay outside the ring forever. This game is nearly like that too, but it is slightly better. I think this game could use more moves, sadly.

You do know in the options menu under controls you can put the control type to A.I so you dont have to play?
