worth the money?

so i see all the positive reviews........

best game ever
etc etc
but almost all of these reviews have like barely 1 hour playtime?
so if its really THAT good, how come that people have such small ingame times?
that is always some sort of a red flag for me and usualy comes from people starting a game, laughing their asses off, rate the game high as a kite and then never play it again.
so is this game one of those, or does it really deliver enough content for 20 doller?

its just something we wanna know before we buy it with 4 people and spend 80 bucks total.

well yes it really is condensed fun :DD

but I don't know why people stop at 1 hour

content-wise — from my point of view there isn't enough content without a level editor (and there is one, but it's not as popular as it's a community mod), but nobody would be able to beat all 50 levels in 1 hour (and then there's deathmatch, basketball, carrot grab modes… that was probably included in that 1 hour too)

about $80 for 4 people — you can buy the game once for $20 instead and use Steam Remote Play, because built into the game online play is very buggy anyway…:(

so its not possible to play with randoms in online lobbys?
it says online pvp and online coop

you can't play with randoms, there is no matchmaking, you need to find randoms yourself

it's possible to play online within the game but it has physics desyncs, and they are worse if the ping is high, maybe it will get fixed in the following updates, the game is still being worked on (albeit very slowly)

it feels much better to just use remote play to have your ping act as input lag
