Controlling the Aircraft

Is there an easy way to fly the Scarab? I can't control it to save my life. I've tried both M/KB and an Xbox controller. They should have included some training before throwing you out onto the flightline.

Do you mean in plane mode?
Or are you also having trouble in VTOL mode?

VTOL. Getting that bugger to orient and land on the pad.

I use the keyboard only for flight and I must say in VTOL, its not bad. I use the lock-thrust almost all the time in VTOL. It's really the only way without having a throttle quadrant to fly it.
CAPS LOCK: lock and unlock thrust level | also with this mode, use Left SHIFT and SPACEBAR to change the thrust level. once landed, turn off lock-thrust or you'll never "touch-down" to trade at the landing pad.
Use Q and E and the typical WASD for directional control and you'll get it down in a short bit.

also don't forget when within about 20-50 feet of the ground in VTOL, you'll be in ground effect and you wont need full hover power, you'll actually need a little less than the indicator calls for.
