Am I missing something?

I'm having trouble with the tourneys. After several attempts, I was able to win the first one by knocking the guy off the edge, but I'm regularly losing fights in the second one before getting to the boss. I have the best weapons/armor I can get, but the stats on the guys I'm fighting are way higher than mine. Any help would be appreciated. Thx

The trick, for me anyway) with the first few tournaments is to make sure you have a couple of healing potions equipped ( can equip before the fight) . Concentrate on agility at first so you can dance back and forward away from your enemy , and make sure you have at least the second tier weapon. Getting 2 or 3 hits in a row with the 'quick' attack can get you Battle Rage, and from there you want to smash them with a power attack, then jump back and rest.

Each boss is definitely beatable but the first few are, for many people, really tough because you dont have great gear yet.
