no money from vending machines

where should i place them? i see why this is the last/hardest achievement.

i put in rec room and cafeteria, but no sales :(

I had the same problem! I think it's because if you supply 100% of the hunger needs of students and staff with cafeterias, then they don't use the vending machines. I was building out my cafeteria so that the food counters were never empty, so no one ever used the vending machines. Redesign the food counters so you aren't providing quite enough, and the vending machines will get used. I put 3 vending machines near the front of the cafeteria for this, and you can watch the students go there when the food runs out.

You could have students use the vending machines EXCLUSIVELY if you're in a hurry to get the vending machine-related Achievements (i.e., build NO cafeterias at all); but this would be to the detriment of the students' Health, though.

ya after 10 hours and few years ingame got really boring
