As Supernucke mentioned, I was the artist for Prison Architect, which is why the art is so similar. There are differences though. Our goal is to make a game that is different from Prison Architect in tone and content, even though the basic gameplay is similar.

And there is no crime in similarity when the content itself is wholly yours. You're on the right track, please keep up the good work.

What's wrong with a "rip off" anyway? In my opinion, I'd like a lot more games that are similar to Prison Architect but only if the devs or artists ect. that worked on PA make a similar game. Such as Ryan

i love both games as i injoy the building side making it your own i also love the choice side how you want things etc

What's wrong ? well , simple fact is why buy another game if the otherone is more or less the same game. like , why would you buy Sim City if you already have Cities : Skylines ?
Or why would you buy a Depraved if you already own Banished ?
Some things are what they are . in a world where you have to pay bills , one cannot afford to buy literally every game that releases because the look the same but are not.

I guess we gonna see a lot "reskins" with minor gameplay changes of these games like we had it for many minecraft like survivals, or many DF light clones.

as long as they aren't too bland clones and give people a truly different gaming experience thats fine.
