1) Keep your students motivated
2) Keep your students disciplined. Make sure you have enough space in the detention room for students sent to detention. Low discipline students have a higher chance of being rowdy, or litter more.
The way it works now is that students who misbehave throughout the day( littering, being rowdy) will lose some amount of discipline at the end of the day. Generally, the more misbehaved a student is, the more discipline they lose if they are not punished. In order to negate/remove/prevent the discipline loss the student needs to be sent to detention.
Some students or transfer students who initially enter the school will have a chance to be rowdy. For now just make sure that these students have a space in detention so that they don't lose discipline, thus leading to a lot of rowdiness.
In a future update, we're going to have guidance couneslors which will talk to students to permanently remove their rowdy behavior( and other delinquent behavior).
Detention? Is that a room you can make, I dont see that anywhere?
The detention should be just one room, that can take all the different years, I have to presently make 4 separate rooms which is JUST STUPID.. Detention in my school was just 1 room for all. sit ur ass down and do any homework. misbehaved still you STAYED even longer!
That is a huge relief because I was worried about the same thing.
Can you please tell us how to motivate students? How do we raise their fun need? How about energy and hegiene? Other needs?
Needs are raised through the following:
Food - Eating in cafeteria
Fun - Hanging out in common area
Energy- Resting in chairs
Hygiene - Washing using sinks
So these needs affect motivation. If they become low the student's motivation will suffer.
I'd like to know if this is unclear through the gameplay, or if we need to provide additional information.
Is your principal scolding the students? I saw him doing his job a couple times, but as I increased my student population, it seemed like the principal got overwhelmed and stopped doing his job!
He wanders around eating and going to the bathroom while rowdy students pile up in his office. The last time I saw that happen, he came into his office around 5:30 pm and started scolding a single student and then pow! Day ended. Everyone left without anything getting done.
I thought I'd be smart and build a second principle's office, but NOPE. You can only have one principle at a time... This would be an excellent time for Vice principals and/or the guidance counselors the Devs say they're working on...
Let's hope something gets done... Eventually.
Mine just filled up with students, they defaulted to my detetion room instead of my main classroom.
I have 4 rooms edited with detention and teacher assigned, but well, these teacher are there alone forever :(
Already reported this bug, but well, doesn't make any fun to play if you have more and more rowdy students and no one goes to detention rooms.
@DethBringa sounds like you have the opposite problem.
