USA Trucks and Ocean Floaties Request Sacada

Is there any way you can add some Extremely difficult way to eventually obtain Ocean Floaties for USA trucks,.

I am thinking. In South America behind a wall that requires 5000 Industries in South America plus 500000 Bunny Chow Brought to the location behind the wall kind of difficult, or harder even.

You know what it takes to get Bunny Chow I can't even get to it yet so I am thinking this would be an Extremely difficult task of some sort, but eventually doable.

Or Add 1 million growits to the equation. Something Extremely hard to do Very Late in game.

If you can do this it would be awesome. If not, I am still all in.

If this can already be done some how. Some one clue me in. Thanks

Buy european trucks, upgrade them with ocean floaties, bring them to US. There are many depots (South Korea, Russia, Japan, Norway, United Kingdom, Germany, Croatia, France, Cote D'Ivoire) where you can buy trucks and upgrade all of them with ocean floaties in Japan. Also New Zealand where you can buy and upgrade at the same depot. And you get more when you complete towns/businesses in those countries. I sold all US trucks and filled all capacity with others which I upgraded with ocean floaties.

Thank you archmag. I was thinking about doing that, But I was going to look to see if I can replace all the double B's from other places around the world. If not I was going to sell them all any ways and replace them with smaller trucks. I found 5 doubles in Katvala. Parking all the USA trucks now. Problem solved. But are there enough 2x trucks available on those continents? I guess I'm still quite far from that as I haven't connected North Korea to Russia by road yet. Having just 5 trucks with ocean floaties feels quite restricting at this point. Had to open up US and Canada with trucks bought there. Game is fun though!

I don't know how much is enough for you. There are 4 depots with 2x speed (one with 20t max, two with 40t max and one with 80t max). For me 10 40t with 2x speed is enough. I also use 8 40t without 2x speed even though I could have bought more with 2x. I don't feel it's necessary as most of the time trucks are idling anyway.

Plus it is possible to increase the cap for depots so you can buy more then 20 40t with 2x speed eventually.

So far I found depots Kamikawa, Katvala, Celtic BatDepot and Montreal Trucks selling 2x 40t trucks. If I understood you right eventually I'll be able to upgrade only trucks from Norway aside Japan with ocean floaties. That doesn't feel "enough". :)

There is a third one that will have access to Japan and has 40t trucks with 2x speed. So three depots, 15 trucks at the very beginning. Later as you complete those three countries you get some more. But really, I barely feel the difference between 2x and normal. They all stop before I finish giving orders to others. So I just constantly give orders.

But there is a town that requires 10k machinery. I may need to increase my fleet to complete it. Last time I tried I wasn't even able to pass 10% of it.

This sounds interesting but I guess it's at such a late point in the game where it won't really matter anymore.

Depends on how you prioritize things. If you focus on countries with those depots it can be quite early.

Why is it ridiculous? And what does it have to do with being lazy? If Sacada was lazy he wouldn't add extra mechanics as that is the lazy route. Sorry, but you make little sense.

Sorry, I must have confused something here. I thought for some reason that it is possible to increase the cap for each depot, but it's only the total cap for all trucks and each type that can be increased. So no, you can't get more than max amount of trucks from each depot. For depots you can only increase initial cap (2nd number) up to the max cap (3rd number) by completing towns in the country.

It's in Europe. Very close to where you start in Europe after New Zealand geographically but I think it takes quite some time before you can actually get there (not sure about this because things changed somewhat with later releases).

Do notice that I corrected myself about getting even more trucks after completing towns and business, for some reason I though that max cap in each depot could be increased, but actually only total amount of trucks (and of single type of trucks) can be increased. So it is only 15x40t trucks with x2 bonus that can be used with ocean floaties. You can get 10 more with x2 bonus in Americas (without ocean floaties) but I would recommend taking normal trucks with ocean floaties instead.
