There was no limit, and they did not despawn on death, folks were spamming them and killing themselves, and spamimng them over and over.
The update is fixing That specific issue.
Mind you, just having them despawn on death, and keeping current limits would have been fine I feel.
I think it's a poor point to be saying that support were useless now. They still have armor, they can still replenish nades, RPGs and other weapons and unless you're going up against vector zoomers or throw yourself into the messiest CQC generally I even think that their LMGs still have a slight merit. In any case the justification for support to exist shouldn't be some silly claymore spam. Here is hoping that the devs will buff support with something else.
That is true, Limiting the number and allowing them to stay after death is the more logical boon, guess I got too used to call of duty there for a minute.
I'd hope its not a significant nerf.
Support was from what ive seen, in every squad i've been in, the least played class by far.
We need more incentive for everyone to not just run around as medics or snipers. Not less.
I don't understand why the removed it from support - fair enough everyone else can have limits and what not. Its bad enough I can be waiting with an lmg and someone with an SMG just insta gibs me.
