There is now no reason to play support class. There were already 95% of people playing medic with most others playing recon and only a few people playing support.

You can easily see the wires on claymores and destroy them so it really wasn't a problem dealing with them.

The people crying about claymores are sprinting around playing as medic with a vector trying to hit 100 kills every match. If claymores slow them down then that's a good thing. We need variety. Having everyone play the same class and using the same weapon silly.

They just noobs that can't cope with challenges. MGing non-stop from lawnmower is fun, hard and satisfying.
I used to play support to set up a defensive areas - putting down ammo boxes at structures i created, then placing claymores around the area.

These little moments are now gone from the game.

You can hardly see the wires when you hide the claymores well enough in ground foliage. And I'm saying this not as a victim but actually as someone who spammed lots of claymores. Inside you could hide them behind barriers, one after another. If you were planting claymores and they stood out with their wires you were basically doing it wrong.

Vector nerds won't stop crying until this game is only run & gun.

People who claim that claymores were fine clearly didn't play on that one forest map where some people spammed them everywhere on the ground. You had to shoot more claymores than people.
I'll be honest i've had rounds where I've gotten 70+ kills with claymore spam in the bushes only lol. They lowkey needed this.

That's why you have medics though right?

But that's what I liked about it. If you look at current wars, that's what is happening right now. They put landmines in fields and forest areas to funnel the enemy.

My hunch: community wants it to be battlefield / cod clone, don't think, no strategy, just point click kill.

My second hunch: community will then complain this games is too similar to battlefield / CoD.

What do medics have to do with claymore spam?

Now you actually have to think about where to place claymores instead of randomly mining everything.

Btw, the game *is* a Battlefield clone.

Dude, check Ukranian counter-attack. There are MEGATONS of mines on south-eastern frontline, even double mines. And not in bushes or forests only, on the fields too.

Gosh, I really wanna make AP mines line in the field. Give us ability to dig it into soil, so it would be so notable!

Who said anything about randomly mining? It makes sense to place mines etc in bushes or places with high foliage.

Anyway, some people just get salty whenever they are killed by a non-gun. It's a different skill. The same if you kill people with a tank, RPG, ... then don't play this game.

But iif you read again: I said FIELDS and FOREST. It also happens in cities but less frequently. I know they use mines to funnel enemy into killboxes.
