FPS down to 0 while moving mouse

FPS down to 0 while moving mouse. The faster I move my mouse, the lower fps I have. As long as I move mouse, I can only see the Start Frame and the End Frame.

Turn down your mouse's polling rate. Some games don't like it being higher than 500.

I tried 500 and 250, just a little bit better, but still unable to play.

Same thing for me, 144fps if I stand still, stutters like crazy if I move, no matter what graphics settings I use

I am experiencing the same phenomenon as well. My rig is powerful enough to handle battlefield 2042, yet for some reason, whenever the mouse moves, the mouse lags. I have tried reducing the polling rate to 125 (the lowest polling rate i have) and the underlying issue at hand is not resolved for me.

Setting my polling rate to 125Hz fixed the issue. Now the game run smoothly on ultra. That's a really weird bug that I've never exeperienced before. And from what I've read, it was already there in the beta. The devs really need to fix it

I haven't had this problem in either 2042 or APEX, except for this game.

IT APPEARED FROM THE TESTING PHASE AND I FED BACK TO THE DEVELOPERS, BUT DIDN'T GET ANY RESPONSE OR FIX, AND NOW I CAN'T DECIDE WHETHER TO BUY IT UNTIL IT'S SURE THE BUG IS FIXED.

Yep having issues with polling rate as well, had to go to lowest setting to get playable fps when moving mouse.

Are you using razor drivers or something like MSI afterburner, try to close those .exe

A friend of mine have had similar problems with other games, and after he closes the razor mouse drivers the game runs flawless

No I am not. I use Logic GPW 1th and uninstall logic drive and any related software. Then MSI afterburner is not running and I also checked Task Manager. To be precise, I rarely use this software,

Go to device manager, uninstall your mouse under 'mice and pointing devices', unplug the mouse, restart PC, plug it back into a different USB slot.

Another thing it could be, are your graphics drivers up to date?

I'm not remembering if the game has these settings, but you could also play around with raw input / hardware cursor and/or VSYNC to see if that gives you different results.

Yup we're all in it together bois, it's definetly polling rate related but I'm on a MX Master3s and cant change polling rate. So I guess we just wait

doesn't work, the game simply has some optimization issue regarding certain mouse models and polling rate. it's been an issue for a long time, way before early access. devs don't seem to know how to fix it, or interested.

same thing for me i have a logitech setup mouse g502 and a g910 if i move mouse it shutters to 0 fps unable to play

alsow when i try driver deinstall and something else nothing works settings in game not working always shutters
