Does This Come With Server Software for Hosting Your Own Servers?
If this is specified somewhere, I can't find it. So many games nowadays are always online that I have to ask

Wondering the same thing. Most of the server issues wouldn't exist if players could host their own dedicated servers, in their region, on their own hardware.

I have the same question. I was trying to work out if this :

Would do the job, have installed it on my Server PC, but can find no configuration advice as yet via google. There are community servers in the server browser in game, so it looks like someone is doing it

Thanks for the info. Would be a pity if nobody can figure out how to configure it, but at least it's there

This post/guide is no longer applicable. The community servers have only been made possible with the help of Doki (dev). They are being utilized as a way of testing and are only available for larger communities (such as TLR).

However, we should see community rental sites pop up within the next month and a guide from Doki himself on how to host a community server (without renting). The upside of renting is less maintenance/upkeep, and the upside of hosting is the ability to access API (stats, etc).

Hope this helped.

Frankly, the upside of hosting is that the game can be preserved. Otherwise, if the developer shuts down the servers and renting, the game disappears and becomes unplayable

You can host a server but you cant get your ip whitelisted as they aren't officially released yet.
