Hope a modder makes a bot/single-player mod

When the workshop is up and running someone NEEDS to make a single-player/bot mod for people who don't wanna play with people, game desperately needs it honestly because I and others don't enjoy 24/7 multiplayer all day everyday and just wanna chill and play a relaxing game by ourselves and unlock things own our own against bots without the stress of players.

The devs could easily make a single-player/bot mode with our own unlocks but for some bizarre reason decided not too when it could even make the longevity of the game be longer because servers don't constantly have to rely on 200+ something people to be in a server at once, If BlueDrake can add proper bots to his game then battlebit devs can do it for sure and make them proper because the game is very simplistic compared to call of duty or battlefield which have bots in some if not most titles and if a small team similar to battlebit like operation doorstep can have single player and bots this game can do it too.

Fair. But I guess my take is BattleBit won't need bot support to keep it alive. There's a void in the market and these devs are providing a solid option. You mark my words, this game will be in strong standing 1 year from now.

I don't want it to die but I also want a 100% guarantee I can still play it on my own if the multiplayer dies out like so many other indie games before it, because unlike OHD I paid for this game so I want to get my return investment on it if it dies like OHD did I.E singleplayer/bots.

I don't like the idea of bots being in battles. I've seen my roommate put in so many hours going against bots in BF2042 just to unlock everything. It ruins the entire point of the game and I feel like once you add bots into the game, you're saying "I expect my game to not retain a playerbase."

However, if they added bots to the game, but made it so you couldn't unlock anything if you played bot-specific playlists.

Perhaps either a separate save, or everything is unlocked from the start in bot matches like custom games in CoD :3

Not to mention, it's still kind of unplayable on the lower end of the system requirements.

Nobody complains about the bots because it's an easy way to level up & unlock stuff. I like the challenge of playing against other players as going 100+ with little to no deaths against bots just doesn't feel all that rewarding.

People didn't complain about the bots because that's all they did was hide in their own little private matches unlocking items.. and when they would finally venture into real matches they would still get owned for being bad players. Playing against the easy AI doesn't make you a better player against actual players. Seen this countless times.

Bot and mods are highly desirable. They definitely won't hurt the game. Also custom and local servers are needed

I hate bots in online matches. It's one of the killers of battlefield and enlisted. However, bots for offline play would be good for people that have bad internet or in places where internet could potentially go down as if we look at the real world, it seems war could disturb internet in quite a few places where this game could really lift peoples spirits.

Bots in online matches will make me uninstall this game and never play it again.

An overlooked aspect of bots is that they allow you to play coop with a group of people without the need for human adversaries. For me the lack of bots is a deal breaker for this type of game. Otherwise it is like trying to play a board game during a football match. Too many outside influences.
