Care to elaborate how it's bad? I've had nothing but great experiences with ShadowPlay and see no need to run a third application.
Highlights is literally the same as recording constantly, only now you have to find the clips yourself. Not that hard to do if you have a mic. Just scream after every cool thing you do so you can see the audio peak in your editting program. Thats how i do it in pretty much every game.
Geforce Experience is garbage and will deactivate recording if you use licensed streaming services and sometimes will just bug out. Same applies to nvidias reshade imppementation it is extremely unreliable and is missing core features.
You could also just stop your recording after you get a nice clip or whatever. Don't HAVE to peak audio. OBS is good for streaming. There is nothing wrong with using shadowplay.
I have 3 screens. every time i want to start battlebit geforce experience doesn't work ingame. only after restarting battlebit and/or restarting geforce experience several times.
Solution:
-close all windows (chrome etc) !!!!
-start geforce experience (open the window)
-start steam and open battlebit.
works for me every time. as soon as the game has started, you can immediately switch back to the desktop and start chrome or other programs without any problems. to me (i'm not a pro at all) it looks like geforce experience doesn't see battlebit as the main source as soon as you have multiple programs/windows/apps open at the same time.
Go to Nvidia Control Panel and find the 3D settings tab where you can select custom settings for individual apps, add steam/battlebit.exe to the list and press ok. Restart the game.
Same problem here with a different game. This worked:
1. Turning it off
2. Open Nvidia Geforce Experience
3. Open the game again
untill I Alt+tab the game :/
