So the game cost $15 and you still need to grind to unlock everything? lol
Seriously wtf?.....This isn't a free 2 play game....I payed $15, let me choose whatever loadout I want from the get go.

I want to have a fun/fair experience.....I didn't spend $15 just so I have to grind every gun/attachement/even scopes lol.

I know the game just came out but this little difference is already letting "veterans"(testers) of this game do way better than brand new players who are gonna take some time to grind some of these weapons/attachements.

inb4 "but but grinding for gear in a game I already paid is fun, COD/BF does it!".........It's not fun, it's dumb....I paid for it, let me use whatever loadout I want....Don't nerf me so the vets have an easier time fighting me.

So yeah this unlocking thing is holding the game back IMO....I mean locking guns via Rank and attachements/scopes via kills makes the game way too grindy, maybe if we could chose what to unlock thru a cert system like in Planetside 2, so I can pick what I want to unlock first.......but this is way too grindy, way too grindy and adds nothing to the game except grind.

Again this is ain't free 2 play, I paid $15 to have fun/fairness, not to grind.

I refunded when I saw the amount of "unlocking" had to be done to use the gear. The price is fine. The game play was middling.

I'll echo others who've stated that things weren't always this way with unlocking gear. It feels like I'm being forced to use certain guns in some pre-ordained order. It's an indy game that costs $15... why even bother with the progression? The fun is in trying everything until I find what I like to use. I don't want to be forced into "getting gud" with some gun just to unlock another gun I may not like either. There's a million things I'd rather do than that... so, I refunded.

I hope BattleBit finds success and if they ever backpedal on the unnecessary illusion of "progression" then maybe I'll give it another shot. If not, I hope everyone who does enjoy it has fun. No hard feelings.

grindy progression systems are pretty normal for multiplayer games, its what give you incentive to keep playing. But of course its true that TOO grindy is offputting, so hopefully the devs are monitoring this and willing to make some adjustments to find the right balance.

Grindy Progression system that BF/COD implemented is some slave type crap....This was never normal back in the earlier days of multiplayer, everything was unlocked to everybody from the get go.....But I guess people got normalized to it just like they normalized DLC/battlepasses/etc.

My incentive to play multiplayer games is fun/competitiveness/creativity of loadouts....Not to grind/unlock stuff.....I want everything unlocked so I can have fun experimenting with different builds......Like I said, if it was free 2 play, I would understand but not for $15, and specially not for an indie type game like this.

I paid $15......Yep I want every player on an even playing field with everything unlocked.

Zoomers? Nope you're the Zoomer who accepts this dumb grind.....Old School games like counter strike/Original COD/BF/etc never had grinds to unlock things....everything was made available to everybody from the getgo.

So yep, Zoomer boi, keep accepting your grind like a slave.

Can't remember a single game I have played that you don't have to unlock weapons and attachments for, if it's an issue for you, don't play. We won't miss you

Video games use to have everything unlocked for everybody...You play a multiplayer game and everybody can choose whatever, no grinding to unlock.

The games are getting worse because people like you accept the "grind" of unlocking something you already bought....Complete stupidity.

Imagine if Old school Halo/Counter Strike had some grinding system to unlock weapons lol.....It will be so dumb.....but this is what modern gaming has normalized lol.

Pathetic.

I literally can't think of any recent FPS game that came out in the past 5-10 years (or maybe even more) where everything is unlocked for the user.

Halo....you dont need to grind for guns to be able to use them.

Im sure the new Counter Strike isn't gonna crate some dumb grinding system where you need like 200 kills before you can unlock the m4 or something dumb like that lol.

Imagine if Counter Strike did that, created a grind to unlock weapons like this game....It will be super dumb and unfair to the newer players.

I get what you mean and I kinda agree with you but neither Halo or Counter-Strike has an attachment system.

So true and next week the same plebs come here to cry, because there is no new content. Glad these devs don't listen to all the ultracrepidarians.

Have you ever played another multiplayer game in your life before?

You're seriously getting mad because there is a progression system?

Lol.

That's true.............Still, they should be made available from the beginning IMO....

or allow us to choose what to unlock instead of going thru some weird grinding system where we get things thru order......IMO this just creates alot of imbalances between experiences players/newer players.
