EASY ANTI CHEAT FIX!!

Right click the game, go to properties, installed filed, browse, look for a EasyAntiCheat.exe, run it from there.

-open it
-set eac2_installed and eac3_installed to false and start the game via steam
-now the EAC window popped up again and i was able to reinstall EAC

THIS WORKED FOR ME (I only had the eac3 textline but i was still able to set to false and reset on bootup)

5 EASY STEPS!!!

1.RIGHT CLICK GAME IN STEAM AND GO TO 'PROPERTIES'
2.UNDER THE GENERAL TAB IT WILL SAY 'LAUNCH OPTIONS'
3.CHANGE THE LAUNCH OPTIONS TO 'INSTALL AND REPAIR EASY ANTI CHEAT'
4.RUN THE GAME, IT WILL INSTALL AND REPAIR IT

If this helps I had issues with the Anti-cheat not loading and just kept saying 'please run anti-cheat with the game'

i don't found any eac2_installed, only eac3_installed in the battlebitconfig, not working for me

I can launch the game but once i try to join a server it tells me I have a corrupted file through EAC, I tried to repair game files uninstall and everything. I even tried to download another game that has EAC but tell me I have corrupted files. i can only imagine its EAC

Nothing is working for me. I tried editing the battlebitConfig still had and error after that, Properties for Battlebit "Install and Repair", Opening another EAC game than opening the Battlebit, and lately uninstalling and then reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable latest supported downloads.

Game says you need Microsoft Visual C++ 2015, but EAC needs the lastest. So, if you google Microsoft Visual C++ and download the 2022 one, should fix it, at least for me.

I fixed the issue now my game launch normally, this is what I did:

I just realized that Easy-AntiCheat uses EPIC host services (That I blocked-firewalled manually time ago). So I went to:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Then opened "hosts" archive with a text editor, then I removed all these lines:

0.0.0.0 dev.epicgames.com
0.0.0.0 api.epicgames.dev
0.0.0.0 et.epicgames.com
0.0.0.0 et2.epicgames.com
0.0.0.0 udn.epicgames.com
0.0.0.0 etsource.epicgames.com
0.0.0.0 metrics.ol.epicgames.com
0.0.0.0 datarouter.ol.epicgames.com
0.0.0.0 redshell.io
0.0.0.0 api.redshell.io
0.0.0.0 treasuredata.com
0.0.0.0 in.treasuredata.com

Then I saved the changes. Went to steam library and uninstalled Battlebit, then reinstalled it again. On launch I clicked on "Install & Repair Easy AntiCheat" first. When it's done I launched the game normally and it worked.

I was having these issues. Fixed them by rebooting, then manually deleting Easy Anticheat (running repair did nothing), reinstalling then rebooting before trying again.

Now it works but if I've played Battlebit and quit, it will throw up the usual Easy Anticheat errors until I reboot again, so I now have to reboot every time I want to play Battlebit. I've checked for EAC leaving processes running but can't see any. EAC really is atrocious software (in previous versions EAC would refuse to run if I had my Corsair ICUE running for my RGB lights)
