Worth buying in 2024?

I saw on steam it has like 4.6k players active, I heard there is a lot of cheaters and players are leaving the game, is it worth buying or game is dying and need to move on and search for something different? :P

at its current state, pls no. Devs are restructuring their internal team and its 2 weeks with no updates now.

Totally worth it for me, have fun playing. After 11 hours of playing haven't seen any cheater. Alot of full servers. I don't think that Battlebit gonna die soon, at least it's only early access (but feels like released game). If the game gonna die in 6 months, I'll get enough fun from it for it's price :)

There are too many snipers and players camping and team play is very rare. in some rounds the team mates are bots its 70/30 to buy

they lowered the ttk for every gun to practically nothing, made snipers useless cause shooting a shot tells everyone where you are if the sun glare from ARK when you scope in wasnt enough and they also added random map choice so a map that 40 people wanted could lose to a map 1 person voted for, made reloading super slow so mag dropping doesnt mean anything anymore, increased time to ads which would mean something if hip fire wasnt pin point accurate, and atleast from when i bought the game they removed damage buffs from attachments which made the attachments that had them (1k+ kills except for sniper which is 500) do more dmg but they removed that so now they dont matter and of course silencers are still so pointless that the extra space on my ssd i would get from them removing it is worth more

Buy it on sale. It's not expensive but imo not worth full price. It's still lots fun if you dont take it too seriously. Only 20 hours played but never ran into a cheater so far in official servers. It had an 8k peak today, I wouldnt bother too much with those figures though because you can still hop into a packed server instantly.

Only difference between Battlefield and Battlebit is that Battlebit costs less. Otherwise both games are just a dumpster fire of bugs, desync, hitreg and hitzones. You will play Battlebit and constantly wonder if you got killed by a cheater or the poorly made game.

I would wait until it's on sale. In my opinion it's definitely worth it to pay around 5-10 bucks

I just bought it yesterday and played 9 hours straight. Very addicting and I got my 15$ within the first hour. The community so far has been very chill relative to other shooters. I had a stand off with this guy on the opposite team, playing ring around the rosie, and he just stops and says "can we talk this out?". Another funny encounter : I ran into a full room guns blazing at a chokepoint and kamehamehad this guy and of course the other people killed me, then hes just like " so, how is your day? And im just like good and you? and he said good and i said thats good to hear." Never have I ever played a shooter where you can even talk to the other team like that, but most people are pretty cool and just wanna have fun. In my limited time playing i would define it as "casual battlefield". Although most peoples critisisms are spot on. its not perfect. No game, especially a pvp game is perfect.

its fun, its not cod hardcore fun. a lot of cod and csgo kids that cant hack it come here and try to try hard it in the hopes to pamper their broken cod and csgo egos. hence where like 90% of the games criticism comes from.

treat it as a casual shooter and its really enjoyable. if you want to tryhard it though, you really need to go somewhere else, this is too massively broken to do that here.
