I think part of the problem is there is a gap in communication when it comes to their Discord updates versus what is seen elsewhere by the community.

They are re-releasing the pre-released version of Battlebit, but then wanted to remaster that version. I think it's called Re-released Re-remastered Battlebit 2.

Everyone here are morons. They are actively working on the game and posting updates inside of the BBR discord server. They have done countless of changes to the game to make it way better (better skin system, gun models, sound, map improvements, UI/HUD changes, etc).
