What happened to Battlebit?

I remember close to a year ago I think this game came out, I was jamming it for like 2 months straight and it was so much fun. I had to stop gaming for work-related reasons and stuff, but recently jumped back on and it doesn't feel the same anymore, am I tripping? Or has something weird happened to this game? Like the servers are wonky and idk the player count seems awfully low in my region.

I want updates to fix problems that have been in the game since release, such as frag rpgs being useless, and address balance issues that make the game stale. I'd also like milsim mode.

BF4 and such are in a good state and are fun after years of no updates thanks to the previous updates that happened. I'd like the game to get to that state first.

game abandoned by devs and been plagued by hackers for a while now devs not only up and left but didnt even get the new anti cheat up and running like they said they would a year ago

I can't speak on your region but in OCE half the players were cheating so they probably got banned or gave up when they realized the devs got their taste of money, moved out of their shacks and into a real house. Up to you which tale you want to believe was the cause.

Plenty of games out there where devs care about their game though. Steam should remove this from being sold imho. It's not a game all can buy and actually play.

devs were too invested in ♥♥♥♥ talking people about controllers and aim assist now the game has 2500 and is littered with cheaters. seems like it was a good use of dev time.

My main complaint is that there's just been very little gun updates and its just mind boggling at how there hasn't been any new guns in a while. Even if they drip fed us guns I would still be playing but apparently that's too much to ask for? Meanwhile Devs are enhancing how your gun sways, reloads, redoing textures, redoing ADS, Gun sounds, tactical sprint??? I understand its their game to do whatever they want with but at the very least can we get some new toys to play with until then?

Not to be an ass but how does a Roblox game (Phantom Forces) have more gun variety than a $15 game :\
