No specific date or ETA were given, they said the update will come when it's ready.

They are frequently and regularly updating us and showing the progress (such as in that linked video above) where they state what is finished, what is yet to be worked on and finished, so given the scope of already finished things in the game it is safe to assume that the update is coming very soon.

Now this is just my speculation but I feel that it's going to drop on June 15 to mark BattleBit's one year on Steam.

They have no obligation to expand their team, only to fire those people down the road anyways. If you have so much insight how to run a successful development studio then by all means go ahead and start your own.

With the hype they got and the funds for whatever happened to those, its never too late but nah this game is good as dead, not giving importance to once loyal players and even banning streamers for their opinion/false reports, guess the fun was there till it lasted.
