Devs gave up on stopping cheating

Clearly this is the case. There is no honest debate possible on this.
They don't often (if ever) ban cheaters anymore, and they seem to have given up on implementing decent anti-cheat. The only bans I've seen in months is for "bad language" which is lame.
Cheaters have overrun the game. It's unplayable if you started back when it was a fair game. It literally disgusts me now.
The funniest part is you'll see the cheaters (or the cheat makers) show up here in this thread to gaslight about "ThErE Is No ChEaTiNg, YoU ArE BaD, AnD I Am So GoOd AnD SpEcIaL" very shortly.

From the OP's BBR review:

1) the anti-cheat doesn't do much. 20% of players in any given match are cheaters.

20% of 128p is 25-26.
20% of 254 is 50-51.

That alone says enough. The OP claims how "in any given match" in a 254p server there is at least 50+ players cheating when not all the top 25 players on both sides are not even at 1 KD. Sounds like severe skill issue.

It would be a skill issue if I wasnt skilled i agree but sorry to disappoint you but i am skilled enough to tell you that well as you said at least 20% of the community is cheating . So dont go with the skill issue i Wont mind to 1v1 you in any fps game in private if you are doubting

So there is 50+ cheaters in every match you play? 🙃 Literally open the scoreboard and count both sides, top 25 on each, there won't be everyone with 1+ KD in top 25 of both teams. Do they cheat to go 17-26, 15-23, 21-30 or what?

Edit: Or is it that those 50+ cheaters are just on the enemy team? So basically anyone who made a kill in the match 😁

Don't mess with him guys you know there is a big element of truth in what he is saying just in the nature of gaming alone.
Maybe his figures are off a little but the cheating is there. I never bought the game because there was weird stuff going on when I played the Free weekend.
Plus I didn't like the floaty player movement.

A little off? 😁 There is most definitely cheating in BBR, just like in any other game, no one is arguing that. Maybe less, maybe more than in some games, but there 100% sure isn't 50+ cheaters "in any given match" in 254-player servers, lmao. 5? Probably. 50 definitely not.

Floaty movement as in GENERAL or the people who lag switch with hardware/software and you only see 1/3 of their frames so cant shoot em?

As for the cheating, it's bad. I see it on the daily as the OCE population is SO small now because people can't be arsed getting cheated against. Wallhacks are SO obvious when you spectate someone, literally seen people shooting at walls where the enemy hitbox should be. The aimbotting I dont see TOO much but I still do, hell there are even some clans that literally all cheat and get called out often, but no, nothing ever happens. One of them is even a patreon lol so who knows, might even have a pass.

Sent in demo's in the past of people blatently cheating, this was maybe 5-6 months ago? They are still playing. The only one's who get banned manually that I often see are like the OP says, "bad language".. I mean, it's a game, noone cares, just get rid of the cheats, oh and the complete idiots of the cheats who forget to run their EAC bypass before turning them on and get caught.

Game could be SO good (it actually IS good) if it had a proper anti cheat implemented. I heard the other day that even then, faceit will be OPTIONAL. OCE region is screwed, as the people who own and play on the servers we have (we don't have officials where it doesnt happen) all lag about and cant be shot properly unless they go into groups of ten people.

Love the game, hate the cheating. Was much less prominent in days of CS 1.5/6 and CS;S when I ran servers, nowadays it's almost like a fashionable thing to do. Buy a game, search for hacks, tell all your friends at school how you got 150 kills with your eyes closed.
