BattleBit Remastered

BattleBit Remastered

senda91 Dec 2, 2023 @ 10:42am
Is this game always like this?
I have tried the game with the free trial.
Accustomed to the ruinous aim assist of CoD and the false netcode of Battlefield 2042, both games using a bunch of weapon accessories that you no longer know if it was the connection, the weapon, in CoD it could also be the nefarious SBMM, in B2042 they could be the usual try hard...

The point is that after having played my first game of Battlebit Remastered, the game seemed tremendously clean to me, the default weapon perfectly competent, without absurd recoil, I simply arrived and finished 25-32, which is not much, but at the same time I have seen less people and I have killed about 4 times more than in B2042, without also feeling inferior or behind my rivals in the face to face, it gives the impression that the weapon draw is the same for everyone, there is no need to go like in CoB or 2042 to the internet to do a master's degree.

The question is:
This first impression is more or less how the game has been and will be?
Or has the free trial actually brought in a lot of new people, and that's why I felt comfortable?

I asked why I suspected it was too good to be true.
When the free trial ends, I may only encounter the usual try hard.

At least, I like several things:
- There is no mini map.
- I think you can't mark enemies, I can go alone without fear of being marked by a group of friends like in B2042, also in CoD.

am I right?

It actually is like this, for the most part, even before the free weekend.
Sure, you meet the usual sweaty try hards, and they win an even fight. But a lot of the time you can win against them too, if you use a bit of tactic and surprise them ;)

I'm not a good FPS player, I would say my "skilllevel" is probably around the lower middle of the range. At least that's how it feels, but I win most fights by simply using tactics, flanking, breaking through walls, climbing on top of them, crawling for 1-2min to go around an enemy position, and surprising them from the back, etc.
I just don't have the reflexes to win most of the intense CQC fights, maybe my age, maybe I never had those reflexes to begin with. But it's fun, which is the most important thing in a game :3

Not that many try hards and the guns/gunplay is balanced at this point not like the launch with vector sweats so it feels fair even with the occasional try hard plus those two things dont exist that you mentioned :)

NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.

This is a squad based slower paced shooter. Want a near perfect comparison, with gameplay almost seemingly stolen from its so incredibly specifically close? BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2. This is a spiritual successor to it, 100 percent through and through. Feels just like it.

Thanks to all of you, I think I will buy it.

I have felt it was my skills, when I play CoD or Battlefield I feel a 50% is about disadvantages unrelated to skills, for exmaple, the guy had the weapon, the guy is playing with friends and he saw your head´s mark, the guy had a much better network, an explosive kill you, a vehicle kill you, a streak kill you, your teammates left the game and you are 3 vs 6...
People are so hidden that you are dying of boredom and you have hardly had the opportunity to compete face to face, 6-4 K/D and 3 out of 4 deaths never were a skill quiestion.

the M4A1, & AK74 are both good options (be it both are jack of all trades, AK74 leans more into range through) , MP7 is just good, sniper needs work and L86 is also a good starter on support

there is 3d marking as of this update but requires you to see mid chest at least to do currently

Gameplay after the free trial is up for debate but I image it will have a lot of fast paced shooting like priro

as a below average BB gamer, i had/have a 3.3 KD on launch. which i think is probably an above average KD. but this was on launch when players were very new. when i came back to the game a week ago i was probably averaging a 1.5-2.0 KD in my matches. so i i think even when the playerbase is the sweatiest, an average gamer can still do well in BB just because of the sheer amount of players. there are always flanks to pull off to get great kill streaks and even the best players get mowed down by 3-4 people sometimes. i really don't think BB's 5-6k dedicated playerbase it had before the free weekend is a detriment to the games longevity. i was enjoying myself before the free weekend. and you have to remember that a good chunk of the free trial players will stick around. battlebit is a fun game and it's cheap. a good recipe for fresh blood.

Bad Company 2 was not a slow paced game at all. Every battlefield after it has been way more slow and campy.

Free Weekend is full of noobs. Every second game is a stomp and that wasnt the case before the free weekend. After this youll get shredded if thats your normal KDA. Before the free weekend you had alot of times close matches with an above average skill level imo. This isnt normal right now and i hope it goes back to normal.^^ I like my sweaty fps guys that atleast know what theyre doing. Play the Game more and youll get way better. I think aim is more important than movement, but without movement youll die alot in this game.
