If OP uses the crappy queue function instead of the server browser, like the majority does, then that'll cause some issues with getting into any match.
Basically just do that: Pick a server, even if it's full, in the browser and keep clicking it. Normally someone hops off within a minute and you get to join.
I really wish devs didn't do this. I often had this problem keeping BF1 and BF Hardline alive. I was running hardcore Heist and Operations servers almost 24/7 back then, joining groups, running and joining PS communities, sending tens of PMs to people, and literally sitting in lobbies that were empty for 1-3 hours waiting for action. I kept BF1 Operations servers running until a good 3 am with this absurd amount of effort to retain and invite and let players know it's happening.
You'd get 6 or 7 people or something, and because there was some arbitrary number, like say 16 players needed, you couldn't play. Worse, you'd finally start a match, play for 10 minutes, someone would leave and because you fall under the required player numbers the round would end, lose all XP, stop having fun and go into waiting lobby...
I'm really tired of companies and developers doing this. I'm considering trying to reach out to Battlebit devs HOPING they will change, but having this issue and conversation with every single new game, small or large dev team, is so tiring and frustrating.
Does anyone know how to reach out to the devs through a proper channel where they have a good chance of hearing and responding to this issue that is plaguing their smaller region servers?
4 hours ago wasn't peak time, but I hopped on and saw only 1 server too. I feel like there may have been more and can't trust it, but also it just wasn't peak time, it was when majority where at work/school/commuting.
They need to add a proper cue, not clicking frenzy haha
P.P.S Hesitant to spend money when I paid for a game and devs could so easily add 1 server rotating maps for each mode, instead of 3-7 conquest large servers.
