I frankly don't think there was anything the devs could have done to keep the player count as high as it was at it's peak. Yes, maybe they could have made leveling up less of a grind, maybe they could have banned all the cheaters and banned less people for saying just stupid stuff, but i really didn't expect this game to retain it's player base for long, so i played the ♥♥♥♥ out of it when i could. And it was pretty damn good
No servers.
>Get massive following calling your game a "battlefield killer"
>Update your game specifically to make it EXACTLY the same as the game everyone said your game was better than
>"Where'd all the players go? Why is the game dead?"
I still pop in for a week or two at a time but I take multiple month breaks when playing this game. The big deal breaker for me was the devs vision for the games future and how anti vehicle they are When I got this game I wanted the glory days of Battlefield but the devs want to do their own thing with it. Things like never adding attack helicopters and not adding planes or shotguns.
I mean its their game they can do whatever they want with it but I'm still bummed out. I thought for months that that was just in development and would be added eventually until someone in game informed me that it was never going to happen.
I wish the marketing for the game was more clear the game is fun its just I did not get what I thought I was getting is what I'm trying to say.
