However, if you go into your options, you can make it so when you press "R", it does a normal reload instead of a tactical reload and drop the mag. It was something I looked into Day 1.
setting it to 2 sec also puts a 2 second delay on reloading for me
there is no way you can accidentaly hit it. there is basicly even 3 settings for it in the menu.
Bind drop magazine to a key that isn't R
If you hold R it drops the mag which means you reload faster since you're not storing the mag.
99% of the time it's better to do this unless you have an ammo box.
That's a solid suggestion, didn't even know you could bind that. Thanks! :)
thats not an option.
edit: you can change the reload key, but there is no independent bind for drop magazine
