Is TPM a requirement?

I couldn't play the last OB due to Faceit!'s requirement for TPM. Is it still a requirement after release?

Considering secure boot is a requirement, it seems that yes, a TPM will be required.

Not currently because they are using battle eye. They are working to fix Faceit, though and then TPM will probably be required once more.

How very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nice to not list TPM 2.0 in the minimum requirements, or at least recommended. This is not something I want to learn 70 hours in.

No, it is not. We are currently running EAC which does not require any of that. For the future, we are still investigating something in between EAC and FACEIT Anti-cheat in terms of requirements.

We never said that it is a minimum requirement, hence why we are not putting it in our list of minimum requirements.

Does this mean that then it is not 100% that the switch will happen to Faceit? Because the latest info I know is that it is "not a matter of debate".

Of course, I only ask if you can answer at this stage of the investigation.
