Uninstalling Faceit

If I uninstall the game, will the invasive faceit anti-cheat also go with it?
I remember there were some games where you had to manually uninstall the anti-cheat AFTER you deleted the game itself. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but considering it runs and scans your system even after you close the game I have some concerns.

It's a separate program, so yes you will need to uninstall it as well. Steam also scans your system, in case you didn't know.

I don't have it installed anymore, but it should have FACEIT in the name if you look through your programs.

Rumor says you cannot remove ♥♥♥♥♥ like Vanguard or Faceit entirely without hard format of your PC. Not sure is it true tho

Wrong. Im playing faceit csgo since 2014 and when i uninstalled it, it was completly gone. sure its kernel 0 AC bit you can uninstall it, not like Valorant AC.

There is HUGE anti-Faceit movement here on forum, but I think people want to know ONE simple thing (which I cannot find answer for). Does Faceit runs on Windows startup and works AFTER we turn Battlebit off. Explaining this ♥♥♥♥ by devs would calm all interested people...

Faceit isn't even being used right now. It's all Easy Anti-Cheat. I know because I don't have Faceit installed, wasn't asked by the game to install Faceit, and the servers mention in their description what kind of anti-cheat they're using.

We all know it's not YET, but 100% will be. What's more, we don't know when. It can be implemented in next patch, may be pushed in for a year. It's pretty invasive rootkit so we deserve at least answers.

Per section 2.1.1 of the EULA the driver runs continuously on the users PC and collects data on what you are doing even outside of the game.
Per section 5.4.2 any data that is collected can and will be shared with potential buyers of all or part of the FACEIT business or assets.

Sometimes I wonder why we can't have nice things anymore :( Game is so much fun, but now (as Faceit is certain at some point) I'm not sure if investing any more of my time in this game has any sense. I'm not gonna install malware on my PC willingly to keep playing it...
